Hopefully by the end of the year, the semantic search technology of Twine will make a further step into the construction of structured data on the Web, and its successor T2 will be released.
From an interview with Nova Spivack (CEO of Radar Networks, the company behind Twine) we can argue four main points:
- Assuming that triples are the basic relationship structure of semantic data, the new technology behind T2 makes an important step forward thanks to its ability to a create large triple-stores capable to index large portions of the Web.
- T2 should have the ability to generate a semantic index of data, even if the data does not contain RDF/RDFa information already.
- T2 will allow users to easily navigate from millions to a dozen search results in a few clicks.
- Any connections that users have developed in Twine will be also available in T2.
